Educate Your Staff about Phishing Scams
Phishing filters, while quite effective, cannot block phishing emails 100% of the time. For this reason, it’s important to educate your staff about the various types of scams designed to steal company data and login credentials. Our cyber security training program automates education by sending fake phishing emails to every employee at a random time each month. If a staff member clicks on a link in the phishing email, they are immediately directed to a page explaining that they were being tested, they took the wrong action, and what to look for next time. The following week they receive another phishing email to make sure the lesson sticks. They language and design of the phishing emails changes to provide examples of real techniques that scam artists use when constructing phishing emails.

Quarterly 7-10 minute training sessions are sent out to each employee to keep them aware of best security practices when accessing email, web browsing and day to day computer use. A reporting system allows the employer to keep track of who has and hasn’t completed the training. A document is provided to the employer that can be used to show a cyber liability insurance company what steps are being taken to train staff at a regular interval.
